Hi Earthly Bodies! I hope you had an amazing 4th of July holiday enjoying family and friends. Now let’s get back on track with your healthy natural living goals!

Last week on the Earthly Bodies Natural Living Facebook page I talked about only a few of the benefits of adding an avocado to your diet daily and shared a recipe forΒ  Strawberry Basil Smashed Avocado Toast. Did you miss that? No worries click here ;-). Well here’s another quick and yummy way toΒ reap the benefits of avocado that I shared. It makes a fantastic replacement for banana in your smoothie recipe.Β It makes your smoothie soooo creamy which is one of the reasons banana is used so often. Maybe you’re allergic to bananas or can’t have the them due to other health concerns or just want a change up…this recipe is for you!

14 oz Water

1/4 cp Aloe Vera Juice

1 handful Spinach

1 small Avocado

1 cp Blueberries

2 Pineapple spears

1 Tbsp Flaxseed or Chia Seeds

Blend together and enjoy 32 oz. of creamy delicious whole food nutrition!

  1. It’s so good and healthy!! My body responds the way it should which is much different than it did when I was eating the usual grits eggs and sausage for breakfast. EBNL you’ve given me something to think about every time I eat a meal. I ask myself will this meal bring out the best in me? Or will it just weigh me down and make me sleepy? The healthier alternatives I choose more regularly now and they have proven to be what’s best for me. Thanks again for all you do for me and our family!!

  2. I make smoothies all the time with my vitamix. I never thought of using advacados in the place of bananas. I am going to try it.. hopefully it is good! Post more smoothie recipes.
